Board-certified podiatrist Jordan Cameron, DPM, brings more than a decade of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems to the Foot and Ankle Institute of Colorado, serving men, women, and families in and around Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Dr. Cameron was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, where he attended and graduated from Red Mountain High School. As a student, Dr. Cameron played football and lacrosse. During his senior year, he tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and although the injury kept him sidelined, it triggered his interest in medicine.
Following high school, Dr. Cameron went on a two-year service mission to Venezuela and became fluent in Spanish. After returning to America, he enrolled at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, earning his undergraduate degree in biochemistry. Dr. Cameron subsequently moved to Miami and enrolled at Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine. There, he excelled in the program and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
After graduation, Dr. Cameron completed a surgical residency at the Florida Hospital East Orlando residency program. During this time, he received extensive training and experience in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopy, foot and ankle trauma, and sports medicine. He also trained in using implants and fusion surgery to treat end-stage arthritis.
At the Foot and Ankle Institute of Colorado, Dr. Cameron loves helping ease his patient’s pain, allowing them to participate in their favorite activities. He offers a variety of safe, effective treatments that improve mobility, ease inflammation, and encourage healthier lifestyles.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cameron enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa and two children, Stetson and Millie. He loves skiing and snowboarding, wake-boarding, golfing, and participating in his son's athletics.
