Trevor Whiting, DPM
Board Certified Podiatrist & Foot and Ankle Surgeon located in Colorado Springs, CO
About Dr. Whiting
Board-certified podiatrist, Trevor Whiting, DPM, is excited to be a part of Foot and Ankle Institute of Colorado. He brings with him the knowledge and skills of over a decade of patient care providing the experience needed to efficiently treat any ankle or foot issue that comes into his care. He loves finding and implementing conservative treatment options, but when those aren’t sufficient, he is certified to help in the most effective surgical manner possible.
Dr. Whiting is board-certified and loves to continue learning, superseding the continuing medical education requirements each year. He also loves to teach and mentor, and participates in the surgical training of the nearby residency.
Dr. Whiting is from small town Eagar, Arizona. Following High School, he served a two-year religious mission in São Paulo, Brazil, and loves to practice Portuguese whenever he can. He acquired undergraduate training at Arizona State University, focusing on Microbiology, and graduated from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. He completed a three-year surgical residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Michigan, where he also served as chief resident during his third year. He has participated in several medical missions in Central America, where his Portuguese knowledge has helped him through the Spanish-speaking countries.
One of Dr. Whiting’s favorite parts of being a podiatrist is that the patients often leave the first visit feeling better than when they came into clinic. He loves sharing his repertoire of Dad jokes (courtesy laughs are appreciated) and helping his patients feel at ease with his kind and patient bedside manner. When not treating patients, you can find Dr. Whiting spending time with the women in his life (his beautiful wife and their four daughters) hiking, biking and partaking of the amazing outdoor life in Colorado. And, of course, in the late summer and fall you will find him trying to bugle in elk into archery range.
